Guard rails installed at Expressway passing Van Trung and Quang Chau industrial parks

(BGO) – To prevent the workers and pedestrians from
crossing over Hanoi – Bac Giang Expressway, BOT Hanoi – Bac Giang Investment Joint
Stock Company has installed steel grid guard rails at both sides and in the middle
of median strip at the section from Quang Chau industrial park to Van Trung
industrial park (Viet Yen district).
The guard rail totally stretches more than 10 km together with several items which costs about 10 billion VND (433,500 USD). As schedule, it will be completed in June.

Though the section of Hanoi – Bac Giang Expressway between two above mentioned industrial parks has some overpasses and underpasses, many workers at the industrial parks still cross over the road no matter how dangerous it is. Several accidents occurred because the traffic vehicles were driven at high speed, hence the drivers could not timely handle the situation.

The sum will be sourced from the local non-business capital in 2021 and the central budget allocated for the locality (of which 35 percent is from toll revenues).
