Guiding teachers will receive emulation points when they are classified at the end of the year. Many schools commend winning students in front of the flag and present money to them to stimulate their passion for creativity in science and technology.
The Thang Township Secondary School has also provided money for students to buy materials and assigned experienced teachers to provide consultations for and help students; set up a board to give comments on products before they are sent to the contests at district, provincial and national levels. "Teachers must inspire and transmit their passion to students so that they are passionate about research," said teacher Nguyen Van Hung, Vice Rector of the school.
Over the past three years, at the provincial competitions, many Hiep Hoa students have been honoured. For example, the software "Testing intelligence" by Nguyen The Van and Duong Quang Thanh (the Thang Township Secondary School) won the first prize; the "Robot supporting care for patients in the hospital and the elderly in the family" by Nguyen Xuan Tu, Nguyen Luong Chinh and Nguyen Minh Quan (the Hoang Van Secondary School) won the third prize at the provincial-level contest and the consolidation prize at the national contest; and the "Smart speaker system" by Bui Minh Duc (the Danh Thang Secondary School) won the third prize.

On average, every year, the district's educational sector has from 40 to 45 products and models winning prizes at the district-level contest, and 8 to 10 products and models winning prizes at the provincial-level competition.
“In the coming time, we will enhance communication and dissemination, and encourage students to explore, research, and create scientific and technological products in many fields. On the other hand, we will advise the district People's Committee to consider increasing rewards for models and products winning high prizes, contributing to arousing the passion and spreading scientific and technological creativity in the sector,” said Nguyen Van Thao.
