The construction project of Hoa Son road and bridge connecting Hiep Hoa district in Bac Giang province to Pho Yen town in Thai Nguyen province has been commenced since late November 2022 at a total investment of some 540 billion VND (22.276 million USD) from the state budget. This is a key traffic project of the province.

The provincial Management Board for Agriculture and Traffic Investment and Construction Projects is the project investor and Hanoi Bridge Joint Stock Company No 4 is the constructor of the bridge item.

The bridge is 439m long and 11m wide. The road to the bridge has been constructed meeting the standards of a level-3 road in plain regions with over 10 km of total length, 11m wide road surface and 12m wide ground. The starting point of the connecting road intersects with the national highway No 37 in Luong Phong commune, Hiep Hoa district and its end belongs to Dong Cao commune, Pho Yen town, Thai Nguyen province.

To date, the construction project of Hoa Son road and bridge has been completed at over 90 percent of the workload. Hoa Son bridge is scheduled to open for vehicles on December 31 this year to facilitate people’s travelling and promote investment attraction to the locality contributing to local socio-economic development.
