(BGO) – Thanks to the due attention and instruction from the Center and Bac Giang province in the past tenure, Luc Ngan district has gained several economic achievements with prosperous changes in urban and rural traffic infrastructure. Agriculture production for export has brought high economic value. The industrial, small and craft village, trade and service, tourism, rural sector has achieved many results.

Extended Tran Phu Street which is linked to the belt road of Chu town is newly completed to welcome the 25th Party Congress of Luc Ngan district.

A corner of Ngot village, Hong Giang commune. 12 communes in Luc Ngan district complete 19 out of 19 criteria of new rural building. 15 out of 19 new rural building criteria have been qualified in the whole district (up 4.8 criteria comparing to the figure in 2015).

Chu town, the political and economic center of Luc Ngan district is planned and developed with synchronous and modern infrastructure.

The One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme in the district has gained numerous results. In 2019, Luc Ngan district had 7 four-star OCOP products and a three-star OCOP one. Xuan Truong Chu rice noodle is one of the four – star OCOP products in Luc Ngan.

Luc Ngan prioritises investment in transport - urban infrastructure, raising value of key fruit areas

(BGO) - After the 5-year implementation of the Resolution of the 24th district Party Congress for the 2015-2020 tenure, despite numerous difficulties, with high determination, solidarity and creativity, the Party Organisation, authorities and people of ethnic groups in Luc Ngan district have achieved comprehensive results in all areas, basically meeting and surpasing the targets set by the Congress.

Luc Ngan enhances value of lychee grown in highland

(BGO) – By applying technology in lychee cultivation, many households in the highland of Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) have grown lychee orchards with high quality, productivity and value. Previously, the local farmers must go to the lower land to work as hired labor on the lychee harvest season, but now they hire others to harvest the sweet fruit for their own family.

(BGO) – The Women’s Union in Bac Giang province on June 27-28 coordinated with Hanoi based Minh Tam Equipment Company Limited to visit and present 13 orphans living in specially difficult circumstance in the communes of Tan Moc, Tan Quang, Tan Hoa, Tan Son and Phuong Son (Luc Ngan district).

Luc Ngan lychee exported to many high-end markets

(BGO) - After many efforts of agencies at all levels, ministries, sectors and growers, this year, Bac Giang’s fresh lychee has been exported to a number of high-end markets. This affirms the brand, quality and value of the product, paving the way for further expansion of consumption markets in the coming time.
