Lang Giang mushroom is regularly showcased at the provincial trade promotion conferences.

Under the contract, the supermarket chain agrees to purchase 10kg to 20kg of wood ear and oyster mushroom every day firstly for market evaluation. If they are preferred by customers, the supermarket will order a big quantity and expand the contract to the Big C chains in provinces and cities nationwide.

To date, Big C chain has supplied 15 products of staple, signature and potential of Bac Giang province.

Doan Thi Cau, Director of the Tien Tien Agriculture Cooperative said that she is able to supply about 100 kg – 200 kg of mushroom per day. If the supermarket chain orders larger quantity, the cooperative will link with other agencies in Mushroom Consumption and Production Association of Lang Giang district which can annually produce and supply about 1,700 tonnes of various mushrooms.

The mushroom is one out of 14 products encouraged for production and consumption in the northern province of Bac Giang.
