LDS Charities sponsors to buid toilet facility in Dong Lo Secondary School in Hiep Hoa district

(BGO) – Thanks to the active appealing from the Department of
Foreign Affair in the northern province of Bac Giang, the Latter – Day Saint
Charities (LDS Charities) – an American charity organization in Vietnam has
decided to sponsor Dong Lo Secondary School in Hiep Hoa district for a toilet
facility worth about 27,000 USD (equivalent to over 600 million VND).

The project is expected to benefit more than 1,000 students and help improve the awareness of teachers and students about environmental sanitation and health protection.

As the plan, it will be constructed from January 2019 to January 2020.
Previously, LDS Charities sponsored clean water and environmental sanitation facilities to 13 primary and secondary schools in Hiep Hoa district in 2016. The project was totally valued at 174,000 USD, including some 160,000 USD from the sponsor and the remaining amount from the district budget.
