Mo spring ecotourism site is the popular destination for many visitors, especially in summer vacation.

Besides, the district has 263 unique cultural historical relic sites and architectures with 85 recognized relic sites including 16 national relic sites, 69 provincial relic sites, national treasure of Incense-table in Kham Lang pagoda, national intangible cultural heritage of Mo spring festival...

Also, the district preserves and maintains some unique festivals at the communal houses, temples and pagodas such as Phuong Son communal house and pagoda, Kham Lang pagoda, Than Nong temple, Mo spring temple...which are the advantages for the district to develop diverse forms and become bright spot in the provincial tourism map.

Nguyen Van Dang, Head of the Division of Culture and Information in the district said: “For recent 5 years, Luc Nam district has focused on drawing the sources to invest in construction of key tourism sites including more than 300 billion VND (12.9 million USD) to develop tourism infrastructure and nearly 100 billion VND (4.3 million USD) to revamp and upgrade the cultural facilities. Particularly, Than Nong temple was constructed with total capital of nearly 30 billion VND; Mo spring ecotourism site was built with total cost of over 100 billion VND, suspension bridge was built to Tran temple...”

At the same time, the competent agencies coordinated with the Executive Board of Ba Vang pagoda to survey and make detail plan to build Bat Nha pagoda in Huyen Son and Nghia Phuong communes in total area of nearly 200ha as well as the golf course in the communes of Chu Dien, Yen Son and Kham Lang...

The key investment helps Luc Nam district realize many attractive destinations such as Mo spring ecotourism site, Than Nong temple, Nuoc Vang spring...Moreover, these sites are gradually linked together to create eco and spiritual tourism tours, drawing some 1.15 tourist arrivals for recent 5 years.

Synchronous solutions

According to the Secretary of Luc Nam district Party Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, to fully tap the local potentials and advantages, the local authority has built the leading specific Resolution to encourage and attract the invesment to accelerate the tourism development in the period 2020 – 2025.

Accordingly, under the provincial orientation of tourism development, the district will invest and call for socialization sources to key projects of Binh Long pagoda (Huyen Son commune), upgradation of Mo spring temples (Middle and Upper temples), completion of traffic system to link the relic sites within Mo spring relic site while planning and proposing to adjust the land use purpose for several tourism area and sites to create land fund to lure project investors.

The local authority also pays due attention to facilitating the investors to Golf course and resort project at the communes of Chu Dien, Yen Son and Kham Lang as the key task of socio-economic development to open up chance to promote and attract investment and business to the district.

At the same time, the community based tourism sites will be implemented in Nghe Man village (Luc Son commune), Ma Tay village (Nghia Phuong commune), Xuan Phu vilalge (Bac Lung commune)....while connecting to the travel agencies to build the tours that link the district tourism sites and areas to others in and outside the province. It should focus on the tours alongside the journey of the founder of Yen Tu Truc Lam Zen Sect (Vinh Nghiem pagoda – Than Nong temple – Mo spring – Tay Yen Tu).
