Total cost hits over 500 billion VND (21.3 million USD) from provincial budget (over 340 billion VND), provincial budget (over 100 billion VND) and others (over 100 billion VND).

The projects invest in technical and social infrastructure systems of Chu township, including central park, sport hall, paving work, lighting system alongside national road No.1, clean water supply system, drainage system among others.

Besides, some projects support to build central buildings in the communes of Phuong Son, Tru Huu, Thanh Hai, Hong Giang and Chu township as well as road and lighting system in 5 communes of Kien Thanh, My An, Nam Duong, Kien Lao and Quy Son.

The evaluation proved that the area to be Chu township met all criterial and standards about population scale, total area, communal administrative agencies. Since 2014, Chu township has been recognized by the Ministry of Construction as fourth class urban. However, the evaluation must be done again basing on new set of criteria and regulation. Some projects were not qualified so they must need further investment for upgrading.
