Particularly, the group bought 30 tonnes of fruits from several households of Vi Van Thanh, Phung Van Hoat in Hong Giang commune; Nguyen Van Hien in Tan Moc commune with the price of 30,000 VND per kg. The whole area has been granted with growing area code since 2016 and cultivated under GlobalGAP procedure.

After packing, the lychees were transported to Ho Chi Minh city for steaming and sterilizing to export to the US. This was the first lychee batch of Bac Giang province to export to the demanding market.

Promoting trade connection, expanding markets for lychee

Japanese experts arrive in Vietnam to check fresh lychee for export

A delegation of Japanese experts arrived in Vietnam on June 3 to supervise the quarantining of fresh lychee expected to be exported to Japan shortly, according to the Plant Protection Department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
