An art programme was held to kick off the festival, featuring the participation of artists, actors and actresses from the Youth Theatre, Tuyen Quang provincial Ethnic Art Troupe among others from various places across the country.

Notably, the giant lantern designs, which depict characters in fairy tales, colloquial stories and famous beauty spots, were showcased in the parade, lighting up the northern mountainous city.

In addition, the alternate performances of unique intangible cultural heritages by artisans and artists from across the country, such as Xoe Thai folk dancing, Then singing and the Central Highlands’ gong dancing.

The festival ended with a sparkling and colorful firework display, bringing joy to local people and visitors on the Mid-Autumn Festival.
