Viet Yen district has been targeted to become a regional industrial and service center and township by 2025 in many resolutions and master plan of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee and the Party Committee of Viet Yen district.

He stressed the establishment of Viet Yen township serves as a crucial premise to stimulate economic development and improve the material and spiritual lives of local people.
