According to Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Tan, the National Tourism Year 2022, will be held under the theme ‘Quang Nam – A green tourism destination’ with assorted activities and events, introducing the culture and tourism potentials of the central province.

The programme will officially open on March 25, 2022, at the Hoi An Impression Theme Park in Hoi An city.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Doan Van Viet expressed his belief that the National Tourism Year 2022 will pave the way for tourist activities to recover and thrive again, contributing to advertising Quang Nam province and Vietnam in general to tourists.

He directed that the National Tourism Year must highlight the signature tourist products of the host locality, while helping to improve the livelihoods of local residents.

He also asked the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and functional agencies, to provide support for Quang Nam, to successfully host the programme and popularise its activities to the public.
