110/35/22kV Substation covers more than 3,000 square meters and is located in Cao Thuong town (Tan Yen). It consists of two 40MVA, one of which was firstly installed. At the same time, the project erected 110kV wire lasting nearly 14.5km from Tan Yen to Cau Go and over 30km from Hop Thinh to Tan Yen.

Besides, it included control system, protective instrument, telecommunication, SCADA connection....to support management, supervision and operation. The project was totally invested nearly 204 billion VND (8.85 million USD) from Official Development Assistance loan.

When 110kV Tan Yen Substation is put in operation, it helps ensure stable and qualified power supply to Tan Yen district and create connection circuit to 110kV Substations in Hiep Hoa, Viet Yen, Yen The and Lang Giang districts to build flexible source of power supply in case one of the substation or wire get trouble for reparation.
