Nearly 3 billion VND invested to install frozen warehouse

(BGO) – Vifoco Import Export Joint Stock Company in
Bac Giang city (Vifoco) (Bac Giang province) has invested nearly 3 billion VND (130,000
USD) to install 2,000 cubic meters of frozen warehouse to preserve lychee, thus
raising the total area of frozen warehouse up to nearly 4,000 cubic meters
which helps preserve about 800 tonnes of lychee with the temperature of -18
degree (keep lychee fresh with good quality in 2 years).
According to Nguyen Xuan Viet, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Vifoco, this year, the company continues processing and exporting canned lychee flesh, frozen lychee flesh and frozen lychee to Republic of Korea, Germany, France ...as well as serve domestic customers.

So far, Vifoco has basically completed the installation, prepared human resources and facilities for operation right after the lychee harvest season comes officially.

(BGO) – According to
the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DoARD), Chinese competent
agencies have approved to add 11 lychee packing facilities to the list of
qualified ones to export to the market, making up total number of packing
facilities in Bac Giang province (satisfying food safety hygiene condition in
China) up to 300.
(BGO) – According to the Center of Industrial
Encouragement and Trade Promotion (Department of Industry and Trade), Bac Giang
province now has 52 companies and facilities producing foam boxes and ice bars
for the farmers and traders to harvest, preserve and consume lychee this year.

afternoon of May 4, Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People's
Committee Phan The Tuan inspected the lychee production and preparations for
selling lychees in Luc Ngan district.
(BGO) – The Immigration Department (Ministry of Public
Security) has approved for 164 foreigners (Chinese traders) to enter Vietnam (first
period) to survey, negotiate and buy lychee in Bac Giang province.
(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang province has
issued Plan to organize various activities of meeting, forum, festival to introduce
the tourism products and promote the consumption of lychee, key and signature
farm produce in the province in 2021.
