Nearly 350 Vietnamese citizens repatriated from US

Nearly 350 Vietnamese citizens have returned home safely from the US on a flight arranged on August 29-30 that departed from Houston.
Vietnamese authorities and representative agencies in the US, the national carrier Vietnam Airlines and US authorities worked together to bring back home the citizens from many states of the US.

Security, safety and disease prevention measures were carried out during the flight.
After the plane landed at Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quảng Ninh, all people on board received check-ups and were sent to concentrated quarantine sites in line with regulations.
(BGO) – According to
the statistic from the Department of Information and Communication, as of August
11, Bac Giang province had 251,627 citizens downloading and using Bluezone
application for Covid-19 prevention and control, accounting for 13.95 percent
of the total population.
Over 270 Vietnamese citizens were repatriated from Cyprus and Saudi Arabia on August 8-9.
A flight of national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines was arranged by the Vietnamese Consulate General in the US state of Houston, in coordination with other relevant Vietnamese and US agencies, to bring home nearly 350 Vietnamese citizens on August 5-6.
Nearly 280 Vietnamese citizens from 24 European and African countries were brought home on August 2, with their flight landing at Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh.
A total of 230 Vietnamese citizens were flown home from the Republic of Korea by a flight of budget carrier Vietjet Air on August 1.
