Nearly 8,000 youths trained in digital start-ups and tech mastery

Updated: 20:42, 09/06/2025

The training programme “Million-view start-up – supporting 20 million Vietnamese youths in start-up” was recently held successfully in Ha Noi. It is a key activity of the tuition-free community education project “Digital literacy for all – Let’s learn AI together”, under the scheme “Enhancing digital business capacity for 20 million Vietnamese youths”.

The programme was jointly organised by the Supporting Centre for Youth's Startup (SYS Viet Nam) and TikTok Viet Nam, with support from Nhan Dan Newspaper, aiming to promote social development under the Politburo’s Resolutions No. 57 and No. 68.

A community project titled “Digital literacy for all – Let’s learn AI together” has attracted nearly 8,000 participants from across the country.

In addition to fostering a spirit of start-up among young people, the programme also contributes to boost the national digital transformation process, local economic development, and promote Vietnamese products in the digital age.

It aims to build a youth force capable of mastering technology and proactively adapting to new trends of the digital economy.

With the support of SYS Viet Nam, MCN DAKE, and the Centre for E-commerce and Digital Industry Development under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the training programme was held in an in-person format for content creators, TikTok channel developers, and trainees of the “Digital literacy for all – Let’s learn AI together” — a non-profit training project on artificial intelligence and digital business — specifically targeting youths from remote and difficult-hit areas.

In just one month since its launch, the project has attracted nearly 8,000 learners across the country in daily online Zoom classes featuring accessible and practical content.

“In an era where the digital economy is rapidly developing, the role of content creators and social media platforms is increasingly vital. Creators are not just sources of inspiration, they also promote consumption and spread information and Vietnamese products to the wider community. This comes alongside the responsibility to adhere to legal frameworks, uphold professional ethics, and contribute to the sustainable development of society,” Nguyen Huu Tuan, Director of the Centre for E-commerce and Digital Industry Development, emphasised at the training session.

“Our goal is to bring digital knowledge to people from all walks of life, especially young people in rural and remote areas. By spreading knowledge about AI, e-commerce, and digital media, we hope to narrow the digital divide between regions and strengthen the younger generation’s ability to master technology,” added Master Nguyen Dinh Hoa, a representative of the volunteer experts of the project.

Through the programme, young participants are equipped with skills in personal branding, digital content production, and utilising platforms like TikTok to start businesses and promote products.

The programme not only enhances digital competence among youths but also acts as a bridge, connecting local products and images with domestic and international consumers.
