New cultural and exhibition center inaugurated in Bac Giang
BAC GIANG — On the morning of April 19, Bac Giang Province inaugurated new Cultural and Exhibition Center, one of 80 major projects launched nationwide to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30 (1975–2025).
The ceremony at the Cultural - Exhibition Center of Bac Giang province was attended by Pham Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Home Affairs; Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee among others.

The center is designed to meet the cultural and artistic needs of the province, providing a dedicated space for exhibitions, performances, film screenings, conferences and other community activities.
The project, managed by the Provincial Management Board for Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project, occupies a 4.7-hectare site in Dinh Ke Ward, Bac Giang City.

The total investment exceeded 540 billion VND (23.5 million USD), funded by the provincial budget, with construction taking place from 2022 to 2025.
The center includes indoor exhibition halls, a 1,000-seat performing arts auditorium, a cinema room, conference facilities, offices for the Provincial Culture and Cinema Center staff, as well as service areas, parking and reception spaces.

Groundbreaking took place on December 24, 2022. The project was executed by a consortium of contractors, including Duc Anh JSC, E-Power Construction Engineering Co., Airpower JSC, the Film and Television JSC, and Bac Giang Termite Control and Sterilization JSC.
At the inauguration, central and provincial leaders cut the ceremonial ribbon and officially opened the facility.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals in recognition of their outstanding efforts during the project’s implementation.
BAC GIANG - On April 18, the People's Committee of Bac Giang Province and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing vocational training and employment prospects for vulnerable groups in war-affected areas and Vietnamese youth by supporting the Vietnam-Korea College of Technology (VK Tech) in Bac Giang to develop talent and skilled labor.

BAC GIANG — The Party Central Committee has outlined plans to merge Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces, with the consolidated province to retain the name Bac Ninh and establish its political-administrative center in the current Bac Giang.
BAC GIANG — Bac Giang is set to launch its first large-scale logistics hub on April 22, 2025 in PP2 area of Bac Giang city. The Bac Giang International Logistics Center, jointly developed by CNCTech Group, Dolphin Sea Air Services Corporation and Thien An Investment JSC, marks a significant milestone for the province.
