The ceremony was attended by Pham Van Thinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the PPC along with leaders of various provincial departments and agencies, project investors and construction contractors.

PPC Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh and other delegates cut the ribbon at the inauguration ceremony of the new inter-agency office building.

The new inter-agency office building project was developed with a total investment of 698 billion VND (30.3 million USD), funded by the provincial budget and managed by the Bac Giang Provincial Management Board for Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project. The construction began in 2022 and is scheduled for completion in 2025.

The building was designed to complement the two existing inter-agency buildings, forming a centralized administrative complex to house multiple provincial agencies.

It aims to enhance administrative reform, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and create a more convenient environment for organizations, businesses and citizens.

The centerpiece of the project is a 22-story office tower with two underground levels, offering a total floor area of approximately 40,590 square meters.

The building is equipped with eight elevators and three staircases while the basement features an additional five staircases to ensure fire safety and emergency evacuation. The upper floors are arranged as office spaces, storage areas and technical rooms for electricity, water and information systems.

The new inter-agency office building together with two existing buildings form Bac Giang’s centralized administrative complex.

In addition to the main structure, the project includes supporting facilities such as roads, drainage systems, boundary walls, green spaces, a power station, outdoor lighting, water supply and drainage systems, a pumping station and parking lots.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place on June 16, 2023. Despite various challenges, the project was completed on schedule thanks to the determination and close coordination of all involved parties.

On this occasion, the PPC Chairman awarded Certificates of Merit to two collectives and two individuals for their outstanding contributions to the construction of the new inter-agency office building.

Public satisfaction with administrative services improves further

The public had greater satisfaction with the administrative services provided by state agencies in 2024, heard a report presented at the Government’s monthly meeting and conference with local authorities on April 6 to evaluate the socio-economic development situation in March and the first quarter.
