During the festival, each medium performed three Hau Dong sessions. The performances followed the traditional art of Hau Dong, showcasing up to 36 ritual segments that honor deities and national heroes who have made great contributions to the country. Each performance was not exceeded 45 minutes.
The annual festival aimed to honor and promote the practice, helping raise awareness among authorities, organizations and the community about the importance of preserving and developing the cultural and spiritual values of this folk art form.
It also served as a platform for artisans to meet, exchange experiences and deepen their understanding of Chau Van singing and Hau Dong performance.
Concluding the event, the organizing committee awarded three First Prizes and fifteen Second Prizes. Among the winners of the First Prize were mediums Nguyen Thi Nam from Lan Mau Commune, Doan Thi Huu from Chu Dien Commune and Nguyen Thi Ca from Bac Lung Commune, all from Luc Nam District.
The practice of worshipping the Mother Goddess of the Three Realms was recognized by UNESCO in 2016 as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
