Nguyen Thi Huong and Nguyen Viet Oanh elected Deputy Secretary of Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee
BAC GIANG - On the morning of December 27, the 19th Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee held its 23rd meeting to elect the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure under the chair of Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC).
Speaking at the event, the provincial Party Chief Nguyen Van Gau emphasized that in 2024 the Bac Giang PPC achieved many encouraging and proud results in all fields.

These results were achieved thanks to the great efforts from the PPC Standing Committee and the PPC Executive Committee in promoting the spirit of solidarity, unity and high consensus in the collective when deciding on important issues of the province. This is an important basis for promoting the strength of great solidarity in the entire Party Committee and among all classes of people.

At the meeting, 100% of the present PPC members voted unanimously for Nguyen Thi Huong to be Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Nguyen Viet Oanh to be Deputy Secretary of the PPC for the 2020-2025 term.
Nguyen Thi Huong was born on October 29, 1973. She holds a high-level political theory degree, bachelor degrees of law (Hanoi Law University) and business accounting (Hanoi Open University) and master degree of law. Before being elected as Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC, Huong was a member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee of the Bac Giang PPC for the 2020-2025 tenure.

Nguyen Viet Oanh was born on July 26, 1980. He holds a high-level political theory degree, bachelor degrees of Road and Bridge Construction (Hanoi University of Transport) and Economic Law (Thai Nguyen University) and Master's degree of Highway and City Road Construction. Before being elected as Deputy Secretary of the PPC, Oanh was a member of the Standing Committee and Head of the PPC's Propaganda Department.

BAC GIANG- On December 19, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province (PPC) Phan The Tuan and leaders of some provincial departments visited and extended New Year greetings to the Offices of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Hanoi and 3 foreign direct investment (FDI) companies in Hiep Hoa district, Viet Yen township and Bac Giang city.
BAC GIANG - The Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee on December 17 held a conference at the provincial Convention Center to announce Resolution No. 1191/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated September 28, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels in Bac Giang province for the period 2023 - 2025 (Resolution 1191).
BAC GIANG – As the entire Party, military, and people are celebrating the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival, I am delighted to attend the conference announcing the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee regarding the arrangement of administrative units at the district and commune levels in Bac Giang province for the 2023-2025 period.
BAC GIANG - On December 16, the delegation of Xaysomboun Province (Laos) led by Dengpa Thum Thong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Zone 18, Chairman of the Xaysomboun Provincial People's Council visited and worked in Bac Giang province.
BAC GIANG - The 19th-tenure provincial People's Council held a question-and-answer session and passed 32 resolutions on socio-economic development on the final day of its 22nd plenum on December 11.
