This contest lured participation of hundreds of contestants from the districts and city in the province although it was held for the first time. More than 100 contestants aged from 5 to 15 applied for the qualifying round of the contest since late 2017. 

Passing the qualifying round, the contestants took part in the knockout, semi-final and grand final. The contestants performed their talents in singing, dancing, modern dance, circus, comedy and music instruments. All of the 15 finalists who went to the grand final are talented contestants.

A large number of audiences come to cheer the contestants.

The Final Night held at the 3/2 Square attracted some 1,000 local audiences, many of whom came from far districts like Luc Nam, Luc Ngan and Son Dong. With a strange style, Nguyen Bao Hung renewed the song “Ngau hung ly qua cau” while Vuong Thi My surprised audiences with a beautiful belly-dance performance.

The performance of Nguyen Bao Hung impresses many older audiences.

Besides, Nguyen Thi Thao Van from Lang Giang district impressed the judges and majority of audiences with her good voice when performing the song “Rolling in the deep”. 

In line with her young performance style, Van could sing high pitches easily. Thanks to these strong points, Van was crowned the winner with the prize worth 10 million VND (430 USD).

In addition, the second and third prizes and the prize for most promising contestant were awarded the total value of 20 million VND (860 USD).
