Ninh Binh – Trang An Festival honours traditional heritages
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan appreciated Ninh Binh and other localities across the country for their many activities to preserve, honour, and promote the values of cultural heritages and precious assets.

The Vice President emphasised that preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of regions and ethnic minority groups is a very important task, contributing to implementing the direction of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference.
She expressed her belief that the Party Committee and people of Ninh Binh Province will continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, patriotism, and the aspiration to fully tap local potential and unique values and advantages towards becoming a centrally run city by 2035.
She also hoped that Ninh Binh will be one of the leading localities in developing cultural industry and a typical model in harmoniously combining heritage restoration and conservation with green growth and sustainable development.

Earlier that day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan offered incense at the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Special National Monument to pay tribute to the ancestors and national heroes for their great contributions to national construction, safeguarding, and development.
The 2023 Ninh Binh-Trang An Festival is a unique cultural and tourism event of important significance in promoting the cultural heritage values and traditions of the land and people of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu as well as the cultural heritage values of regions throughout the country.
Attracting the attendance of thousands of people, the opening ceremony featured unique art performances. The event is also expected to promote cultural exchange activities and open the door to the goal of building a cultural industry in Ninh Binh Province.
