At 20.30 of the Eve Night, the provincial Center for Culture and Movie will celebrate the Poem Night themed “Cheering the Party and welcoming the spring” at Song Thuong theatre by members of Bac Giang’s poetry club and Song Thuong poetry group.

An art program by the artist of the provincial Center for Culture and Movie is scheduled at the provincial Memorial Monument for War heroes and martyrs.

A number of special art programs are scheduled at the heart of the districts, Bac Giang city and some communal cultural houses from 22.00 to of the Eve Night to 0.15 of the first day of Ter to welcome Lunar New Year. Besides, the province will organize two low-range fireworks displays. 

The first is scheduled from 21.00 to 21.15 at the 3/2 Square, Bac Giang city and the second display is from 0.00 to 0.15 in 9 places at center of the districts of Lang Giang, Viet Yen, Hiep Hoa, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Yen The, Yen Dung, Tan Yen and Bac Giang city.

Several sports activities and folk games will be held on the 3rd day of Tet in the districts and Bac Giang city. Besides, Bac Giang theatre schedule to organize art performances in the districts and city. 

Bac Giang city will organize the festival celebrating the 592nd anniversary of Xuong Giang Victory, folk song festival, calligraphy performance and exhibition about historical objects of Xuong Giang Victory on the 6th and 7th day of Tet.

The Spring Festival and Culture- Tourism Week themed “Discovering the holy land Tay Yen Tu” is scheduled from 14 February (the 10th Day of Lunar New Year) to 20 February.

There will be a number of highlight activities including the procession ceremony of the statues of Tam To Truc Lam (three founders of Truc Lam Zen sect) from Vinh Nghiem pagoda in Yen Dung district to Thuong (Upper pagoda) in tuan Mau commune, Son Dong district. 

On this occasion, the organization board launches the photo contest themed “7 days discovering Tay Yen Tu”, Vietnam Poem Day, the inauguration ceremony of Than Nong temple, the 3rd Chau Van singing festival in the districts of Son Dong, Yen Dung, Luc Nam and Bac Giang city.

The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) organized a live television broadcast programme on January 9, the official launch broadcasting ceremony of Vietnam’s first multi-platform interactive TV channel on culture and tourism.
