In his speech at the ceremony, Lai Thanh Son recalled the tradition of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13). He stressed, there are more than 8,800 enterprises and 10 thousands of individual business households contributing to socio-economic development of the province.

Especially, foreign direct investment (FDI) and private sectors have been dramatically developed showing dynamism, creativity and efficiency in production and business making positive contributions to socio-economic development, poverty eradication and ensuring social security.

With their great dedication and achievements, many enterprises, entrepreneurs and production establishments have been honored nationally with prestigious prizes.

A number of rural industrial products have gained prestige with trademarks becoming favorite items for both Vietnamese and overseas consumers.

In order to continue the achievements, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lai Thanh son requested the enterprises and entrepreneurs to make more efforts, uphold the code of business conduct, fulfill their duties in accordance with the laws, enrich themselves and the homeland, bear responsibility for laborers and have business culture. Besides, they were required to proactively involve in social security activities and poverty eradication.

The local party committees, governments and socio-political organizations in the province need to accelerate propaganda and educating about policies and legal documents to make a positive change in perception among public officials, party members and grassroots about position and roles of enterprises and entrepreneurs.

He affirmed, the province would make great efforts in improving investment climate to facilitate enterprises and entrepreneurs to legally earn money, build and develop the enterprises sustainably.

At this event, the participants had opportunity to meet and talk to entrepreneurs Nguyen Van Khanh, President and CEO of Bac Giang Export and Import Joint Stock Company, Eddie Lo, President of Crystal Martin Vietnam Company Limited (100 percent of investment capital from Hong Kong, China) and Luu Xuan Khuyen, representative of Painting and Ceramic production establishment in Ngoi village, Tu Mai commune, Yen Dung district.

On this occasion, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee awarded certificate of recognition to 21 business persons and 26 enterprises and certificate to 18 outstanding rural industrial products in 2019.

The provincial Labor Confederation gave decision of recognition to 30 outstanding companies operating for laborers.
