Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Duong Van Thai clarifies the enterprises’ proposals at Business Coffee Programme launched by the provincial Business Association.

Meanwhile, Cong Minh Commerce Company Limited was established in 2003 and specialized at doing business in the fields of gasoline and oil, fertilizer and lubrication. Now it has a wide network of stores in all districts, city and some adjacent provinces. However, the owner always seeks new business forms to further suit the market.

According to the provincial People’s Committee, since early this year, the province is home to nearly 900 newly established businesses, (up 6.5 percent comparing to the figure in 2018) making up total number of enterprises in the province to over 9,100.

The industrial production value (actual value) hit nearly 153.6 trillion VND (6.6 billion USD) in the first 9 months, increasing 31.3 percent against the same period including some 5.3 trillion VND (228.3 million USD) from the state own sector, 19.7 trillion VND(848.9 million USD) from non-state own sector and more than 128.6 trillion VND (5.5 billion USD USD) from the foreign direct investment company.

The above results were gained thanks to the activeness and creativeness in management of each firm as well as the great facilitation from the authority and functional sectors to build a more transparent and open investment and business environment.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial Business Association (PBA) Nguyen Duc Kha said the PBA has coordinated with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Center of Investment Promotion and Business Development (Department of Planning and Investment) and several organizations to hold training courses, dialogues and talk show around many practical issues to support the enterprises to develop the business and production.

Besides, the PBA organizes the Business Coffee Programme on every quarter to provide the enterprises with chance of meeting, sharing the ideas to develop the socio-economy and reflect the direct obstacles to the provincial leader.

Responsibility for the community

Recently, family of Ngo Thi Nga in Ha Vi No 2 residential group in Tho Xuong ward (Bac Giang city) is happy to live in new spacious house. The 60 square meter house was built thanks to the support from several businesses, kind-hearted people, local authority and organizations.

Annually, the local businesses actively join hands in social welfare programmes. Particularly, they had presented more than 62,000 gift packages totally worth 24 billion VND to poor and social beneficial families in response to the campaign “Tet for the Poor” since 2018.

On the occasion of Action Month for the poor, the enterprises registered to donate 11.1 billion VND meanwhile meaningful and practical gifts were presented on new academic year, War Invalid and Martyr’s Day among others.

The activeness and creativeness of the business and entrepreneur in the integration era together with the facilitation from the party, state authorities and functional sectors, the community of provincial enterprises has gained positively results, hence providing great contribution to boosting the socio-economy and ensuring the social welfare in the province.

Businesses develop, budget revenue increases

(BGO) – Bac Giang province is now home to thousands of operating businesses. Among them are many excellent production and business units that have well fulfilled tax duties and been commended and rewarded by the tax sector for many consecutive years.

547 new businesses established in first six months

(BGO) – Bac Giang province has granted the business registration certificate to 547 enterprises and 37 branches and representative offices in the first six month of this year, up 6.6 percent comparing to the same period last year with total registered capital of over 4.6 trillion VND (197.2 million USD) increasing 14.8 percent against previous figure.  

24 Bac Giang businesses granted labor export license

(BGO) – To date, Bac Giang province has sent about 25,000 labors abroad, mostly working in Republic of Korea, Japan, Taiwan (China), Malaysia and Middle East area. 

Secretary of provincial Party Committee Bui Van Hai pays pre-Tet visits to businesses

(BGO) - On January 31, Bui Van Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Giang province paid pre-Tet visits to some businesses based in the locality. He was accompanied by Duong Van Thai, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee and President of the provincial Business Association, and representatives of the Department of Planning and Investment and the Office of the provincial Party Committee.

Nearly 100 businesses participate in online job transaction session

(BGO) - On March 7, the Job Center under the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Bac Giang province) organized an online job transaction session connecting 12 provinces and cities including Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, son La , Hoa Binh, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc and Bac Giang. This was also the first job transaction session in the Lunar New Year 2019.
