(BGO) - On March 7, the Job Center under the Department of
Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Bac Giang province) organized an online
job transaction session connecting 12 provinces and cities including Bac Ninh,
Hanoi, Hai Duong, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, son La , Hoa Binh, Lang Son, Quang Ninh,
Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc and Bac Giang. This was also the first job transaction session
in the Lunar New Year 2019.
Attending the event were Le Quang Trung, Deputy Director of the Employment Department under the Minsitry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs; Le Anh Duong, Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee; and representatives of several departments and agencies in the province.

Speaking here, Trung and Duong stressed that the effective implementation of the job transaction floor is one of the key solutions to connect labour demand-supply, thus creating a stable and healthy development of the labour market. Therefore, in the coming time, the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and its Job Centre should further promote the forecasting of the needs of the labour market, both in short and long terms.
In particular, they need to work closely with vocational education establishments to train and provide quality human resources that meet the needs of enterprises. They should also study and renovate the form and content of job transaction sessions in line with specific profession groups, while increasing the application of information technology in connecting and balancing supply and demand.

In order to increase employment opportunities for labourers and meet businesses’ needs, at the year-beginning session, the Job Center signed a memorandum of understanding on labour supply with such units as the Bac Giang College of Industrial Techniques, College of Vocational, the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology, PT Daehan Global Yen Dung Joint Stock Company, and Siflex Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Close to 100 enterprises registered to take part in the session with total need of about 40,000 employees. The websites of the job centres of provincies and cities run information on job vacancies, salary, rewards, social welfares so that job seekers can select suitable jobs. Present at the session in Bac Giang were 17 enterprises (including five labour exporters) who wanted to recruit personnel for more than 12,000 positions.
At the end of the session, 250 out of 400 workers were directly recruited and the remaining will get the center’s further consultations for appropriate positions.
More than 30,000 new jobs created to Bac Giang laborers

56.7 billion VND spent on Tet bonus to laborers
(BGO) – Ahead of the Lunar New Year festival (Year of the Pig), leaders of Taiwanese invested New Wing Interconnect Technology Company Limited (in Van Trung Industrial Park, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province) mobilized 56.7 billion VND (over 2.4 million USD) to provide Tet bonus to nearly 12,600 laborers.
