(BGO) – According to a local representative in Luc Ngan district People’s Committee in the northern province of Bac Giang, after three days, over 135 tonnes of fruits were sold at the Luc Ngan fair 2018 for orange, pomelo and signature products as of November 26.

There was a slight increase in the selling price for orange and pomelo in November 26 such as 25 – 30,000 VND (1 – 1.29 USD) per kilogram of yellow flesh orange, 20 – 25,000 VND per fruit of sweet pomelo, 35 – 45,000 VND (1.5 – 1.9 USD) per fruit of green skin pomelo.

Particularly, after making the record price of 36 million VND (over 1,500 USD) for 10 kilograms of Luc Ngan sweet orange at the auction in the opening ceremony, numerous customers have purchased this fruit with the price of 45 – 50,000 VND (around 2USD) per kilogram, increasing 10,000 VND per kilogram against the previous price.
Among the pavilions at this Fair, the most attractive ones are from the communes of Hong Giang, Quy Son, Kien Thanh, Phuong Son, Nghia Ho and Tan Quang. These booths have drawn many visitors and customers because the localities won high prizes at the district level fruit quality contest. Besides, the fruits are carefully selected to ensure the food safety hygiene quality and stamped for traceability.
