Currently, 32 urban and residential projects have been implemented in Lang Giang district on area of more than 450 hectares with total investment of over 5.3 trillion VND (222.8 million USD).

Of which, 20 key projects with non state budget investment are under execution on 363.4 hectares with total investment capital of 4,238 billion VND. The implementation process of these projects has many problems, especially compensation and site clearance.

After checking actual situation and working with Lang Giang district leaders, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong agreed with the district's proposals and recommendations related to new urban projects in the west and east of Voi town. He noted that it is necessary to end long-running projects to focus on other tasks.

PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong works with leaders of the district, competent agencies and investors.

Regarding detailed planning adjustments, the provincial leader assigned the Department of Construction to review all projects to advise on early implementation.

In response to Lang Giang district's proposal to build a project focusing on attracting investment in trade and service projects, he assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to advise on implementation throughout the province for synchronization. Investment attraction method can be piloted before applying across the province.

Vietnam records over 38,000 valid foreign-invested projects: FIA

There were 38,379 valid foreign-invested projects in Vietnam with a total registered capital of 455.06 billion USD as of September 20, reported the Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Foreign Investment Agency (FIA).
