Provincial Military Command cares for policy beneficiaries

(BGO) – On the occasion of 72 anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, the Military  Command in the northern province of Bac Giang on July 23 organized free health examination, medicine supply and presented gifts to the policy beneficiaries in Kham Lang commune (Luc Nam district).

The Military Command coordinated with the district Medical Station to provide free medical checkup and medicine to more than 120 national contributors and 10 single older persons in the communes.

Colonel Luong Van Duong, Deputy Commissar of the provincial Military Command visits and presents gift to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Tran Thi Than in An Ha commune (Lang Giang district).

The beneficial cases were provided with otolaryngology, dentomaxillofacial, eye checkups; ultrasonography and general health examination as well as free medicine with total value of over 30 million VND (nearly 1,300 USD).

Besides, representative of the provincial Military Command visited and presented 10 gift packages to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, severely wounded invalid and sick soldiers, difficult policy beneficial families in Kham Lang communes.

At the same day, leader of the provincial Military Command visited and gifted to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Tran Thi Than (born in 1922) in village 9, An Ha commune (Lang Giang district) and Hoang Thi Mai, wife of martyr in the American resistant war in My Cau village, Tan My commune (Bac Giang province).

On July 23, the Trade Union in Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) joined hand with Agribank Bac Giang to visit the war invalids and wounded soldiers at Lang Giang Nursing Center for the War Invalids.

Representative of Agribank’s Trade Union expressed the proud and deep gratitude to the great sacrifice and contributions of the wounded soldiers and invalids to the country and homeland while encouraging them to further promote the tradition of Vietnam People’s Army in the new era and well follow the teaching of Uncle Ho “Wounded soldiers are disabled but they are not discards

The Agribank’s Trade Union took the occasion to presented gifts and 50 million VND (over 2,100 USD) mobilized from the Agribank’s Trade Union fund to Lang Giang Nursing Center for the War Invalids.

National contributors provided with health examination and consultation

Visiting and gifting to nearly 38,400 national contributors
