Updated: 14:15, 27/10/2021
The programme "Ha Long Bay - A rendezvous of the world's natural wonders" is scheduled to be held on October 31 at Tuan Chau international tourism and entertainment complex (Ha Long City), promising to be the cultural event to marking Quang Ninh's reopening following the Covid-19 epidemic being brought under control throughout the country.

The event is also one of an activity to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ha Long Bay being voted by New Open World organisation as one of the new seven natural wonders of the world, marking the 58th anniversary of the founding of Quang Ninh Province (October 30, 1963 - October 30, 2021).

The 70-minute programme will be divided into two parts: "Ha Long - Destination of smiles" and "Ha Long - A shining wonder". In addition to the elaborately choreographed and rehearsed performances of the professional cast, the show will also feature art performances and an ‘ao dai’ (Vietnamese traditional costume) fashion show staged by local women.

The event promises to bring a quality art programme and a vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of people and visitors.

"Ha Long Bay - A rendezvous of the world's natural wonders" has been organised to take place on an open-air outdoor stage space, with the participation of a large number of actors, creating a rich atmosphere and inspiring the audience to experience the colourful, charming and fascinating heritage and wonder of Ha Long, with new tourism products.

After it reopens the doors to tourists in November, Quang Ninh expects to welcome between 1.5 and 2 million visitors in the fourth quarter of this year.

In 2011, Ha Long Bay, literally “descending dragon bay”, surpassed more than 400 destinations from over 200 countries and territories to be named as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World by the organisation New Open World.
