SEA Games 30: Vietnam wins 5 gold medals on fourth competition day

The Vietnamese sports delegation won five gold and many silver and bronze medals of December 4, the fourth day of the ongoing SEA Games in the Philippines.
The five golds were grabbed in swimming, single and parallel bars events.

With 27 gold, 32 silver and 33 bronze medal after four days of competition, Vietnam ranked second behind the host Philippines.
Malaysia ranked third with 21 gold, 12 silver and 22 bronze medals. The fourth place came to Singapore and the fifth to Indonesia, followed by Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos and Timor Leste.
The Vietnamese men’s U22 team made a comeback to defeat Indonesia 2-1 in their third match of Group B at the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 30) in the Philippines on December 1.

The Vietnamese men’s U22 team trounced Laos 6-1 in their second match of Group B at the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 30) in the Philippines on November 28.
The organising board of the Southeast Asian Games 30 (SEA Games 30) announced that most of the sports events and the closing ceremony will be opened for the public for free in order to ensure that many Philippine people will enjoy the biggest regional sport event.
