Two more students in Bac Giang to attend Physics a Chemistry Olympiad

(BGO) – On April 26, Headmaster Tran Duy Phuong of Bac Giang Highschool for the Gifted said two students at the school will attend national team to prepare for 2023 Olympiads, namely Truong Phi Hung and Giap Vu Son Ha.

Truong Phi Hung is an eleventh grader in Physics Class of Bac Giang Highschool for the Gifted. He is selected to attend European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO) to take place from June 16 – 20, 2023 in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Hung was born in Huong Son commune, Lang Giang district. Previously, he won Bronze medal at Physics Unlimited Premier Competition in 2022; Second Prize at National Contest for Excellent Student in Physics in 2022 – 2023 academic year; Bronze medal at Contest for Excellent Student of high schools for the gifted in the Northern delta and costal region in 2022 among others.

EuPhO is an annual continental contest for high school students across European countries and some guest nations. Vietnamese students have gained high results at recent EuPhO. This year event invites students from 43 countries.

Giap Vu Son Ha is a student at Chemistry eleven grade. He was summoned to Vietnam national team to attend International Al – Beruniy Chemistry Olympiad which will be held in the Republic of Uzbekistan from June 11 – 17, 2023. This year, Vietnam Chemical Association selected 4 candidates to participate in this contest.

Son Ha is an excellent student of Bac Giang Highschool for the Gifted. He used to win First Prize in National Contest for Excellent Student in 2022 – 2023 academic year as one of top three students with highest score, Gold Medal at Contest for Excellent Student of high schools for the gifted in the Northern delta and costal region in 2022 in Hai Phong province.

Thus, Bac Giang Highschool for the Gifted has three candidates to attend Olympiad in 2023, the biggest numbers ever (two in Physics and one in Chemistry).

Previously on April 24, Than The Cong, an eleventh graders of Bac Giang Highschool for the Gifted was summoned to Vietnam national team to prepare for Asian Physics Olympiad to take place in Mongolia from May 21 – 29.

(BGO) - In the national contest for excellent students in the school year 2022-2023, Bac Giang students won four first, 14 second, 16 third and 25 consolation prizes. The four first prize winners are all studying at the Bac Giang High School for the Gifted and are trying their best to become members of the national teams attending regional and international Olympic competitions.
4 candidates from Bac Giang win first prize at national excellent student contest
(BGO)- The Education Quality Management Agency (under the Ministry of Education and Training) on March 13 announced the results of the national excellent student contest in the academic year 2022-2023. 59 out of 89 candidates from Bac Giang province won prizes including 4 first prizes, 14 second prizes, 16 third prizes and 25 consolation prizes. Most of the students are from Bac Giang High School for Gifted Students.
PM attends national startup festival for students
