Unique rowing festival in Mai commune

(BGO) – On April 21 (lunar March 10), the Management Boards in the villages of Mai Trung, Mai Thuong, Thang Loi in Mai Dinh commune, Hiep Hoa district (Bac Giang province) vibrantly organized the traditional rowing festival in Mai commune. 

The three day event (April 21 – 23 or lunar March 10 - 12) is a meaningful activity launched on the occasion of death anniversary of The Hung Kings to mark 944th anniversary of Ly Thuong Kiet’s victory over the Tong army on Nhu Nguyet river (1077 - 2021), 46th year of the South Liberation and Reunification Day April 4 (1975 -2021), welcome the election of 15th National Assembly Deputies and representatives of People’s Council at all levels at the tenure 2021 – 2026.
