Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee Le O Pich pays pre-Tet visits to FDI enterprises
The delegation visited, gave gifts and extended Tet wishes to Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. in the Yen Phong Industrial Park (Bac Ninh province) and Unico Global Vietnam Co., Ltd., in Tan An township (Yen Dung district).

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Le O Pich congratulated the firms on their achievements and praised their efforts to overcome difficulties. He emphasized that despite being a mountainous province with limited conditions, with the solidarity and determination of the Party committees and authorities at all levels, the efforts of the people, and the attention and support of enterprises, Bac Giang's economy has made great strides.
In particular, in 2020, amid the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Bac Giang still maintained its growth momentum at a rate of more than 13 percent, leading the country. This result was attributed to great contributions of the business community, including over 340 Korean enterprises who invested 1.4 billion USD in Bac Giang, ranking second in FDI among countries and territories.

Aiming to be in the top 15 provinces and cities in the country in terms of economic size, the provincial official stressed that Bac Giang is now determined to develop comprehensively in all three areas: industry, urban – services, and agriculture, with industry being the spearhead. In the coming time, the province will create all conditions to attract foreign investors. He wished that the leaders of the companies will continue to pay attention to expanding investment in Bac Giang, and at the same time introduce new investors to the province.
On this occasion, on behalf of the provincial leaders, the Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee presented flowers and gifts and extended Tet greetings to the leaders and employees of the enterprises.
