Vice President congratulates 130 “Uncle Ho’s good children” of Bac Giang province
Previously, 130 delegates representing more than 250,000 children of the ethnic groups in the province attended an achievements report ceremony to Uncle Ho at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

They gained outstanding achievements in studying, practicing and overcoming difficulties to win many prizes in the cultural, sport and science and technology creativity contests.

At the meeting, representatives of Bac Giang’s children expressed their hope that the competent agencies, local party committee and government would invest in school facilities and entertainment venues in remote and disadvantaged areas while reducing learning curriculum.

They hoped to be provided school swimming pools and swimming would become a main subject at school. The acts of violence and abuse must be strictly punished to build a safe and healthy environment for children.

Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh expressed her pleasure at the outstanding achievements gained by Bac Giang’s children over the past years. She hoped they would continue striving to become good children and students deserving to be future leaders of the province and the nation.
Vice President also highly appreciated due attention of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Father Front Committee to the youth union’s movements and children.

She urged the local party committee and government to invest more in improving school facilities and building entertainment venues for children, pay attention to effective implementation of the Law on children and organize more science and technology programmes and contests to encourage children to show their talents contributing to building more thriving homeland and nation.
