The festival features 10 booths displaying traditional Vietnamese dishes like “pho” (noodle soup), “bun cha” (vermicelli with grilled pork and fresh herbs) and “nem” (spring roll), along with different types of beverages.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Nguyen Hai Bang highlighted Vietnam’s firm and stable economic development as well as the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Thailand – two members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Two-way trade has been expanded over the past years and is expected to reach 20 billion USD in 2020 as set by the two Governments, he said, adding that many big Thai groups are operating successfully in Vietnam.
