Vietnamese culture day held in Czech Republic

A “Day of Vietnamese Culture” was held in Brno city in the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic on September 13.

The event was organised by the chapter of the Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic in the South Moravian region, with the support of authorities of Brno city, as part of activities in preparation for the 20th founding anniversary of the association in October 2019 and the 70th founding anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in February 2020.

He voiced his hope that through the “Day of Vietnamese Culture”, Vietnamese people living in the Czech Republic in general and Brno city in particular will work to enhance mutual understanding and solidarity between the two countries.Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ho Minh Tuan said the event is designed to promote Vietnamese culture to people in the European nation and strengthen the bonds between the Vietnamese community in the country and local people.
