VTV International Women's Volleyball Cup returns after three-year hiatus

VTV International Women’s Volleyball Cup will be held in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai from August 19-26, after three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this tournament, Vietnam will have two teams to compete with other teams from Australia and Mongolia, as well as clubs of Choco Mucho from the Philippines, Kansai University from Japan and Suwon from the Republic of Korea.

This will be an opportunity for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team to exchange and compete with strong opponents in the region, thereby helping Vietnamese players to improve their skills and gain more experience.

To make preparations for the 2023 VTV International Women's Volleyball Cup, Lao Cai Province has been renovating and repairing the multi-purpose gymnasium with many upgraded items such as the roof, toilets, dressing rooms, function rooms, tables, chairs, equipment for press conference rooms, reception rooms and asphalt in the surrounding yard.

The Lao Cai Provincial Department of Tourism has also been coordinating with VTV to create video clips introducing the province’s tourism.
