Belief in hardworking workers
This is sharing of Yokoi Sanji at the 10th-anniversary ceremony of the company establishment. 10 years ago, the owner of Yokoi Mould in Japan had a chance to work with Vietnamese workers. As he found them hard-working, studious and enthusiastic, he believed his company would gain success if they invested in a country with such kind of workers. Thus, when his company planned to invest overseas, he searched for information and chose Bac Giang province to establish Yokoi Mould Vietnam.

During 10 years running operation in Bac Giang province, the company has received due attention and support from the local government and joining hand of the hard-working laborers which facilitated the sustainable development of the company. In 2018, the company gained revenue of some 120 billion VND (5.2 million USD), 10 times as much as the first year of establishment. Currently, the company creates jobs for more than 200 laborers with an average income of 10 million VND (431 USD) per month.
Besides, the company conforms to all regulations and laws of Vietnam. As a result, the company has received a number of certificates of merit by the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee such as the certificate of merit titled “the outstanding Japanese enterprise making significant contributions to socio-economic development of Bac Giang province” and the certificate of merit for “outstanding achievements in patriotic movement of Bac Giang province”.

In line with its development in production, Yokoi Mould is among Japanese enterprises making positive contributions to the friendship between Vietnam and Japan generally and Bac Giang province and Japanese partners particularly.
As a member of the Japan- Vietnam Friendship Association in Chukyo region, Yokoi Sanji, Director of Yokoi Mould has made great contributions to bringing the project of cherry blossom to Vietnam. Thereby, the cherry blossom tree, a symbol of Japan has been given and planted in many localities in Vietnam including Hanoi city, Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces.
In particular, since 2015, the Japan- Vietnam Friendship Association in Chukyo region has presented 600 cherry blossom trees to plant at 3/2 square and Hoang Hoa Tham park in Bac Giang city and Suoi Mo eco-tourism site in Luc Nam district. The first cherry blossoms came out in Bac Giang province in Spring 2017.
In addition, Yokoi Mould has positively contributed to connecting Japanese enterprises to local government and people of Bac Giang province. The company and other Japanese companies attended and contributed to the success of the Japan Festival in Bac Giang.

In order to show their gratitude to local government and people of Bac Giang province for their support in development of the company, in 2018, Yokoi Mould sponsored to build 8 classrooms valued 2.9 million VND (128,500 USD) at the Primary and Junior high school of Dong Son, a mountainous commune in Yen The district facing hard conditions. Despite its small scale, Yokoi Mould is one of the outstanding companies contributing to fostering the partnership between Vietnam and Japan which has been established for 45 years.
