(BGO) – The Steering Board for voluntary blood donation in
the northern province of Bac Giang has
recently coordinated with ICO International Joint Stock Company and Bac Giang
branch of Truong Hai Auto Joint Stock Company to organize the voluntary blood
donation festival.
Nearly 200 teachers, labors and students of two enterprises registered to join the event. as the result, the Organization Board received 115 safe blood units that are qualified with the standard of the Ministry of Health and delivered to the blood banks of Vietnam Germany Hospital and provincial General Hospital.

Since the launching date (May 7), 15 blood donation festivals have been held by the joint collaboration between the provincial Steering Board for voluntary blood donation, organization, localities and enterprises in response of the “Summer Red Blood Campaign 2019”.
It helped supplement 1,196 safe blood units (accounting for 119 percent of the set target) and partly recover the blood shortage in emergency case and treatment.

Giang on July 15-16 coordinated with Fuhong Precision Component Company Limited
in Dinh Tram Industrial Park to hold the
voluntary blood donation festival.
“Red Journey” blood donation campaign launched
Red Journey blood donation campaign 2019 is organised in five provinces and cities, including Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Quang Binh, Tuyen Quang and Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to attract the attention to of the public to the humanitarian movement.
First permanent blood donation site opens in Hanoi
The National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT) officially launched a permanent blood donation site at Hoan Kiem Medical Centre, No. 26 Luong Ngoc Quyen Street, Hang Buom ward, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi on June 22.
Nguyen Van family donate blood 88 times
(BGO) – Among the collective
and individual blood donors, the Nguyen Van family comprising of 29 households in
Trong village, Tien Luc commune (Lang Giang district, Bac Giang province) were
honored for donating blood 88 times.
