According to the Organization Board, the Festival this year will take place from March 15 – 17 to promote the solidarity tradition, national patriotism and martial spirit of the people as well as satisfy the demand to enjoy the cultural and spiritual values of the locals and visitors.

The festival consists of two parts. The ritual includes several activities of sacral ceremonies in front of the monument of the national hero Hoang Hoa Tham; incense offering at the monument; fish releasing in the ecological lake…while the festivity features a various art show and sports.

At the meeting, the reporters requested the district to inform about the new point of the festival, various tasks to ensure the social order and security, environment protection during the festival days…

The representative of the organization board discussed the concerned issues. Apart from the art performances, competitions of badminton, volleyball, archery, traditional chess, goat fighting contest will be first ever held in the festival.

Additionally, the event will introduce the culinary culture of the ethnic minority groups and showcase the local specialties. Regarding the social order, the public security force has made the plan to dispatch the staff and officers on duty to keep the locals and tourists safe.
