(BGO) – After the 2023 Lunar
New Year holiday, more than 173,000 labours have resumed working at the businesses
in the industrial parks of Bac Giang province so far, accounting for 98.8
percent of total number of stable labours ahead of the biggest festival in Vietnam,
the Management Board of provincial Industrial Park (MBIP) reported.
About 2,000 remaining labours confirmed to the human resources department about personal reason for absence while few cases changed the job.
Currently, nearly 7,200 companies are operating in the province and employing 303,000 labours, including 403 businesses in the industrial parks with 175,000 workers.

From late 2022 till January 2023, some enterprises in the industrial parks encountered many difficulties due to the order reduction while the majority of them maintained stable production and business to ensure the labours’ benefit. Particularly, some gained good growth rate such as branches of Foxconn Technology Group, JA Solar Vietnam Company Limited, Vietnam Sunergy Company Limited among others.
The provincial Job Service Center (JSC) forecast that 84 companies in the province will register to employ nearly 28,000 labours, mostly untrained ones for electronic, plastic and garment production in the first quarter of 2023.
The Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affair directed the JSC to well implement the measures to timely support enterprises in labour employment and other impoverished organizations to stabilize labour situation in the province.

Labour market marks quick recovery
According to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), supportive solutions and policies have helped the domestic labour market recover quickly, thus, helping industrial parks, export processing zones and key economic regions to maintain a stable labour force.
Bac Giang creates new jobs to 33,600 labours
(BGO) –According to the Department of Labour, Invalids and
Social Affairs ( DoLISA), 33,600 labours in Bac Giang province were employed in
2022, surpassing 0.5 percent of the set target, over 31,700 of whom worked
domestically and others worked abroads.
Over 40,200 rural labours trained in Bac Giang
(BGO) – During 2010 – 2022 period, Luc Nam district (Bac
Giang province) mobilized nearly 10 billion VND (425,531 USD) from central and
local budgets to open short vocational courses for rural labour.
