Implementing the Action month, the authorities of all levels paid due attention to instructing the execution and defined it as a crucial task with priority in the local socio-economic development plan.

As of November 30, about 98.5 percent of the provincial population was covered by HI. In the Action month, there were 118 communes, wards and towns in the province completing the HI target for the whole resident; calling for nearly 400,000 people to register to participate in HI.

At the conference, some localities were said not to actively review, summarize and classify the poor household, near poor family, people living in especially difficult areas or those living on average income from farm and forestry. Meanwhile, the responsible spirit of doctors and nurses under HI service was not highly evaluated, leading to low continuous participation…

The representatives proposed the provincial People’s Committee to instruct the medical sector to correct the serving behavior of the relating staff while the competent agencies should review the number of enterprises with newly arising operation in the province.

Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong urged the organizations and agencies to boost the communication on HI legal policy so as to encourage the residents’ voluntarily participation and fulfill the 2019 target of covering 98.8 percent of the local population.

The colleges, university, professional vocational schools should appeal 100 percent of students to participate in HI. The medical sector was suggested to pay due attention to improving the serving quality and behavior of the doctors and nurses.

Besides, the provincial Labor Confederation was recommended to coordinate with the Management Board of the provincial Industrial Park to instruct the grassroots trade union to propagandize and call for seasonal laborers to join HI under the family form.

Also, the administrative procedure reform and information technology application should be boosted up by the provincial Social Insurance so as to favor the HI participants.

The districts and city should highly focus on calling for households’ continuous participant as well as expedite the fee collection from the registered people while timely honoring and presenting reward to good executors.

Accelerating roadmap for universal health insurance

Bac Giang strives for high coverage of health insurance

(BGO) – The Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) on October 23 held a meeting to review two year implementation of the Direction No.08 dated on September 1, 2016 of Party Committee’s Standing Board  about boosting up the coverage of health insurance in the province in the period of 2016 – 2020 and launching the Action month to call for people of all strata to participate in health insurance in 2019. The event was chaired by Le Anh Duong, Vice Chairman of the PPC.

Action month launched to call for people’s participation in health insurance

(BGO) – The Action month (November) has been launched in all of city and districts in the northern province of Bac Giang from October 31 to November 2 in order to call for the whole resident to participate in health insurance (HI) in 2019.
