Bac Giang: 364 citizens in 32 provinces and cities return home

(BGO) – 364 citizens isolated at Regiment 831 (the Military Command in Bac Giang province) and Vocational School No 12 (dissolved) in Lang Giang district for Covid-19 prevention and control on April 4 completed the regulated quarantine period. 

Within 14 days of concentrated isolation, 364 citizens returning from foreign countries well followed the rules, lived in the thorough care and encouragement from the soldiers, officers, doctors and nurses.

All cases are in stable health condition in 14 days without any suspected symptom. They were also granted with the certificate of isolation completion by the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in Bac Giang province (Steering Committee).

These isolated cases are from 32 provinces and cities across the nation. The provincial Military Command arranges the cars and staff to take these people to their home so as to ensure the safety for the human and belongings.

On her way home in Hue city, Tran Thi Thuy Hang (born in 1987, isolated at Regiment 831) shared: “I am at the seventh month of pregnancy and encounter several difficulties when being placed under isolation. However, we are much better now because the soldiers and medical workers carefully take after us. I want to express my sincere thanks for their kindness”.

The officers and soldiers at Regiment 831 help the citizens transport the baggages to the car.

At around 2pm, each group of people took their turn to move to the car with the support from the soldiers.

Colonel Chu Van Dai, Commissar of Regiment 831, these cases were released after getting the negative testing results to the novel corona virus for twice. The organization task was done safely and properly.

Since February 10, the province has received 1,500 citizens to isolate at 12 sites, 973 of whom completed the quarantine period and 527 cases are isolated.
