From January 21 (lunar December 27, 2019) to the end of January 30 (lunar January 6, 2020), the volunteers (increasing 20 persons comparing to 2019 Lunar New Year occasion) will be ready to donate blood at all time.

Apart from the provincial PBDT, each district and city also form a group of volunteer (each consists of 10 persons) to donate the blood in emergency case.

To serve the blood source used in emergency case and treatment during lunar New Year occasion, the provincial VBD Steering Board launched the 2020 Red Spring Festival. To date, 4 blood donation festivals have been held with nearly 1,400 safe blood units donated which met the standard of the Ministry of Health.
