The project was approved by the provincial authority on March 27, 2014, totally covering about 12.5 hectares in Nham Son commune, Yen Dung district with Tay Thien – Tam Dao Truc Lam Monastery (Vinh Phuc province) as the Investor.

The long-term project is scheduled to build such items as the religious buildings, tourism services, campus and landscape attractions, traffic system and supporting facilities. To date, 85 percent of the first phase, which is expected to inaugurate in the 2018 Buddhist Festival (April 15 on the lunar calendar), has been completed. 

After seizing the project progress reported by the contractor and construction parties, Vice Chairman Duong considered the project was delayed and urged the local authority to pay due attention to facilitating the intime schedule.

Besides, the labor safety should be focused during the construction while ensuring the Monastery’s correct design and aesthetics. The great joint efforts should be made so as to build Truc Lam Phuong Hoang Zen Monastery as one of the destinations for researching, conserving, storing the cultural documents and publications of Buddhism and Truc Lam Zen Sect while introducing Vietnamese culture identity and promoting an impressive spiritual eco-tourism site in the linkage tour of Vinh Nghiem ancient pagoda – Suoi Mo – Yen Tu pagoda.

The action aims at satisfying the rising demand of the residents’ spiritual and cultural religion, helping preserve and upgrade the landscape, drawing more visitors and motivating the local tourism sector.
