Bac Giang accelerates to build infrastructure of industrial clusters
BAC GIANG - On April 11, Phan The Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee (PPC) chaired a conference to review the progress of a number of investment construction projects of industrial cluster infrastructure in the province.
The whole province has 55 industrial clusters, 33 of which are included in the list of enterprise invested projects for progress monitoring.

Among this group, up to now, 8 out of 22 industrial clusters established before 2020 have basically completed site clearance, investment and construction of technical infrastructure. While six out of 11 industrial clusters established in 2022 have had their investment policies approved and processed the next steps such as preparing, appraising, approving detailed planning among others.
In general, the project implementation did not meet the proposed plan. The main reason was due to slow site clearance compensation work. At the conference, delegates raised the causes and proposed solutions to solve problems.
Concluding the conference, the PPC Vice Chairman requested that newly established industrial cluster projects need to immediately overcome the above limitations and select a qualified consulting unit.
To speed up the progress to build the infrastructure of industrial clusters invested by enterprises, the provincial leader requested the Department of Industry and Trade to continue inspecting and urging districts, towns, cities, investors and related sectors to focus on fulfilling the work as the set schedule. The departments and branches based on the execution progress of industrial clusters to coordinate in solving each part of the task.
Districts, township and cities must focus on site clearance, develop specific plans, time schedules and assign responsibilities to organizations and individuals to ensure strict implementation and compliance with regulations while strengthening propaganda and mobilization to create consensus among the people.
The authority was ordered to strictly establish and manage site clearance records, promptly resolve complaints within authority.
The industrial cluster investors were requested to fully implement administrative procedures; access to premises, complete infrastructure construction for the allocated land area, especially wastewater treatment stations then attract organize secondary investment. Investment in technical infrastructure construction must ensure quality and progress.
Regarding connecting roads of industrial clusters with national highways, the Department of Transport will coordinate to review regulations, advise and solve problems for investors.
