Bac Giang athlete wins gold at national wushu championship

(BGO) – The National Wushu Championship 2019 took place from
April 1-7 in Vung Tau city (Ba Ria Vung Tau province) drawing more than 300
artists from 31 provinces, cities and sectors nationwide.
6 artists in the wushu team from the northern province of Bac Giang participated in the combat event in 6 different weight groups of male and female.

These athletes performed excellently and gained two medals. Particularly, Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy bagged a gold at female’s 56 kg event and Bui Minh Hoang won a bronze medal in male’s 48 kg category.
It was the second consecutive victory of Thuy Thuy after her first win in the National Sports Festival 2018.
Vietnamese athletes to compete at Asian Grand Prix Series
