The Project was approved by the provincial People’s Committee on April 29, 2022 to apply at boarding house and social apartment for workers and labours in the province, firstly in the districts of Viet Yen, Yen Dung, Hiep Hoa, Luc Nam, Tan Yen, Lang Giang and Bac Giang city.

Directing the event, Permanent Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council Le Thi Thu Hong pressed on special attention to ensuring and enhancing the living standard for workers and labours as well as the role of trade union to review the cooperation plan with sectors, add or adjust the coordination regulation to ensure the finalization of the Project’s target and solution.

Also, the communication must be reinforced to raise the awareness of the boarding house’s owners and workers during project execution.

Relevant sectors and departments were ordered to research and launch movement and campaign to build and expand suitable model of safe and civilized boarding house to each locality and subject then organize experience exchange event and praise typical ones with effective and creative implementation.

The province continues launching activities to care for labours’ life with priority to vulnerable workers and operating hotline of law consultation for labours.

Besides, she requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to create the set of criteria to assess the civilized boarding house which is input in voting for standard and advanced new rural style localities; cooperate to organize cultural and sport activities to improve the spiritual life for the labour.

The provincial leader directed the districts and city to ensure the annual expense for the project execution; evaluate the task every year and include the implementation result in the local socio-economic execution report.

The Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations should enhance supervising and cooperating to build cultural boarding house in the residential area, establish and maintain self rule boarding house and youth worker.
