According to Bac Giang Power Company (BGPC), now more than 568,000 clients are using the electricity, 81,000 of which use power for production purpose.

Bac Giang is one of the provinces with “hot” development in power growth, particularly the commodity power for the industrial parks (IP) has increased 54.9 percent comparing to the same period last year.

Now, many clients register to use power with huge capacity in the province, especially in Van Trung IP, Song Khe IP, Quang Chau IP..., hence requesting for investment to build the electricity projects, substation and wire systems.

On the occasion, the BGPC proposed several issues to the PPC and NPC, including power plan supplement, construction of key projects such as 220kV Yen Dung substation and wire...

Discussing at the meeting, PPC Chairman Duong Van Thai said Bac Giang is now the destination for many big investors with high industrial growth rate and many IPs to be expanded or newly built. Thus, the province has great demand for ensuring the power supply.

The locality expected the NPC to facilitate the province to have enough power source to draw more investment to the area. The local authority will promptly review, update and add to the development plan of power grid, well handle the issues about the plane to build power projects and ensure the power system safety.

General Manager of NPC Do Nguyet Anh expressed the deep sympathy with the province for the current issues. She committed to provide utmost collaboration and facilitation to Bac Giang in term of power supply.

The NPC promised to add the capital; expedite the contractors and units to speed up the schedule; promptly invest to build the key power projects and put them into operation so as to gradually handle the power demand in the province.

Also, she hoped the province will actively coordinate and create favourable condition in term of plane to ensure the power grid safety ...together with the NPC to best implement the solution of power supply to the power users.
